Glossary: the words TRIGMAZE uses

Workspace, trigger, flow, contact, consent record, kill switch — defined plainly.

Details

  • Workspace (organization) — your single TRIGMAZE account and everything in it: connected Instagram accounts, automations, contacts, and billing. Created automatically when you sign up; you don’t name or configure it separately.
  • Connected account — an Instagram Business or Creator account you’ve linked to your workspace. You can connect more than one, up to your plan’s limit.
  • Trigger — the condition that starts an automation: a comment (on a specific post or any post), a DM keyword, a story mention, or a story reply.
  • Flow — the actual sequence of messages, delays, and branches an automation runs once its trigger fires. Every automation has one, whether you built it in Quick setup (one message) or the full flow builder (a canvas of nodes).
  • Flow run — one specific contact’s journey through a flow, from the moment their trigger fired to the moment the flow ends (or they stop responding). Each contact gets their own independent run.
  • Contact — a real person who commented, DMed, or replied to a story on one of your connected accounts and matched a trigger. TRIGMAZE creates a contact record automatically the first time this happens; nobody is added as a contact without a real interaction.
  • Consent record — the permanent internal note of exactly which interaction (a comment, a DM) gave TRIGMAZE permission to message a contact. This is what proves a send was a reply, never cold outreach.
  • Segment — a saved, reusable filter over your Contacts, mainly used to target a broadcast at a specific group without rebuilding the filter each time.
  • Kill switch — a per-connected-account emergency stop. Turning it on immediately halts all automated sending on that account until you turn it off again.
  • Keyword blacklist — a per-connected-account list of words that block an automated reply (the comment/DM is still recorded, just not replied to).
  • Messaging window — Instagram’s own rule that a business account can only message someone within 24 hours of that person’s last message to them. A TRIGMAZE-wide constraint because it’s a platform rule, not something we impose or can lift.
  • DM top-up — a one-time, non-expiring purchase of extra monthly-DM capacity, used only after your plan’s own monthly quota is exhausted.
